The JR and crew are having some problems with their communication
equipment, but they’re all doing fine. The last message we received on
7/21: 45 20N 150 56 SAILING AGAIN GOOD PROGRESS.

I can only take this to mean that they have concluded their pirating
activities on the vessels in the shipping channel and have filled
their coffers and are headed E again. Seattle is located at 48°N, which means they’ve done almost as much
northward sailing as they’d like. If the wind cooperates, they should
have a nearly straight shot east toward Neah Bay and the Juan’s
Strait.
